Sr. Consultant
Description
the opportunity
RMS is at an exciting point in its European growth — expanding into new markets, deepening existing partnerships, and investing heavily in AI-powered pricing capabilities. As that technology evolves, the strategic value of human expertise becomes more important, not less. Clients need advisors who can interpret what the data means, challenge assumptions, and help them make smarter commercial decisions with confidence.
As a Senior Consultant – Strategic Pricing, that is exactly what you will do. This is a senior advisory role built around consumer behaviour, pricing strategy, and commercial influence. You will work across a portfolio of high-profile European partners — shaping strategy, challenging short-term thinking, and bringing the kind of insight that turns good analysis into great decisions. This is a Hybrid position coming into our London Office 3 days a week.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be based in our London office as part of the European Consulting Services team, reporting to the VP of Consulting Services. Working closely with the VP and Director, you will own a portfolio of senior client relationships and act as a strategic resource across other client teams in the practice — providing consumer behaviour expertise and commercial direction on engagements across the region.
RMS actively supports career development and growth within a global organisation — with structured learning opportunities, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to deepen your expertise as we expand our European practice.
RIGHT TO WORK
Candidates must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is based. The employer does not provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own a portfolio of senior client relationships — acting as a trusted strategic advisor and bringing the commercial depth to challenge thinking at the most senior levels.
- Translate analytical outputs into clear commercial insights, turning complex findings into sharp, persuasive recommendations that drive real decisions.
- Actively challenge short-term thinking — pushing clients toward longer-term strategic positioning when the evidence supports it, even when that means difficult conversations.
- Lead client workshops and steering meetings, shaping the narrative of deliverables with confidence and precision.
- Act as a cross-practice strategic resource — brought into engagements you do not own to provide consumer behaviour expertise and commercial direction.
- Apply a consumer behaviour lens to pricing and revenue management challenges — interpreting how customers perceive value, respond to pricing signals, and make purchase decisions.
- Help teams sense-check strategic direction, stress-test recommendations, and raise the quality of client-facing outputs across the practice.
- Connect insights and patterns across different client contexts to bring consistency of strategic thinking to the European practice.
- 5+ years of professional experience in consulting, pricing strategy, consumer insights, market research, or a related advisory environment.
- Solid understanding of pricing strategy and revenue management — with the ability to apply commercial frameworks to real client challenges.
- Strong grounding in consumer behaviour, customer research, or behavioural economics, and the ability to connect these lenses to pricing and commercial decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge thinking at senior levels — comfortable operating without direct authority across teams and engagements.
- Strong ability to synthesize complex information and distil it into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; confident presenting to and challenging senior client audiences.
- Experience in leading projects & managing team
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders & challenge status quo
- Comfortable engaging with quantitative outputs without necessarily producing them; skilled at asking the right questions of an analytical team.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills; confident leading workshops and steering meetings.
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required.
PREFERRED
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Behavioural Economics, Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA welcome.
- Experience working with restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage brands.
